Explore The North West Coast

Table Cape - Tulip Farm

Take in the epic coast line from the lookout or take a light house tour. Tip toe through the largest tulip fields in the southern hemisphere at the Van Diemans bulb farm. From late September to the end of October Table Cape explodes in colour.

Wynyard

Wynyard is a gorgeous little seaside town set on the banks of the Inglis River. Walk along the river side or take in the sights at the wharf or the beach. Check out the Boutique shops and places to eat. During October it is a buzz with the local Tulip Festival.

Mt Roland and the surrounding areas of Sheffield and Lake Barrington are only a 1 hour drive. Explore the town of murals and be awed by the epic landscapes.

Stanley - The Takine

Stanley is home to The Nut and gateway to the Takine. Being less then an hour away, it makes for the perfect drive. Climb the Nut or take the chair lift. My tip is to walk up and get the chair lift down, it’s easier on the knees. Visit the local seasonal boutique stores. The Stanley pub does a great meal! Take in the views, stroll the beaches and explore the region.

Waterfalls

There are waterfalls everywhere. Some are an easy wonder through magical forests to more challenging finds. This one is Guide Falls only a short drive from here and a perfect picnic spot with viewing platform and easy access to the falls. The Waterfalls of Tasmania guide book is available at check in to plan your adventure.

There is so much more! Uncover the caves at Gunns Plains. Walk the Leven Canyon floor or view from above. Scale the heights of the Devils Gullet. Stand at the edge of the world or explore the Trowutta Arch. Or simply peruse the local markets and cafe hop through seaside towns.
